How It Works

The purpose of Planned Giving ID is to thank donors or prospects for their past involvement and to cultivate relationships that may lead to a future legacy, major or ultimate gifts. The program is personalized to meet the individual needs of your program and integrates telephone, direct mail and e-mail.

Prospect Selection
RuffaloCODY will run a file analysis on your database to select the most likely Planned Giving prospects.

Pre-Call Notice
We will send a pre-call notification from your organization to those prospects that have been selected for calling.

Prospect Call
Specially trained RuffaloCODY callers have a meaningful phone conversation with your Planned Giving prospects. Our select, highly-trained callers complete a short survey-style call with your donors. The results show that donors and prospects respond warmly to the call. This is the first step and a positive move toward a planned gift.

Fulfillment
RuffaloCODY helps you easily manage sending information to prospects that desire additional information about Planned Giving/estate planning and those prospects that would like more information about the value of Planned Giving and how to make a gift.

The fulfillment letters that accompany the brochures are a personalized business letter signed by the person of choice at your organization. Our program fits into your operation! We work with all major Planned Giving service providers and utilize any existing Planned Giving materials you already have.

Reporting
We combine the subjective information we learn from speaking with your donors with their data profile to produce the RuffaloCODY Prospect Donor Report. This provides an accurate assessment of a donor’s interest and value as a Planned Giving prospect.

We provide extensive comments so that there is a seamless transition from the RuffaloCODY call to your own follow-up.

Follow-up Call
For those prospects that may not warrant follow-up from your staff, RuffaloCODY will make a second call to ensure that materials were received, that they were helpful and useful. We continue gathering information about the prospects readiness for Planned Giving.
