Sarah Kleeberger serves as President of RuffaloCODY’s Nonprofit Fundraising Division. She oversees the sales and operations teams that support both off-site and on-campus phonathon and cross-media campaigns.
Sarah’s responsibilities include maintaining RuffaloCODY’s commitment to excellence in the areas of client relations, quality of prospect engagement/outreach, and results. She also enjoys working with a portfolio of clients.
Sarah joined RuffaloCODY in July of 2006 as Vice President, Graduate Services, working with institutions across the country to maximize their on-campus calling campaigns. Her responsibilities included evaluating overall annual fund efforts; developing strategies to increase results and pledge fulfillment; and coordinating direct mail; e-philanthropy and stewardship efforts.
In November of 2009, Sarah was promoted to Senior Vice President and Consultant, supervising and supporting the education markets served by the Nonprofit Services (NPS) and Graduate Services (GS) divisions of RuffaloCODY.
Prior to joining our firm, Sarah spent more than six years in the development office at St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) and experienced RuffaloCODY’s models of off-site and on-campus phonathon management as a client herself. Under Sarah’s management, the college’s phonathon achieved an unprecedented 98% fulfillment rate and increased dollars by nearly $400,000. In FY06, phonathon revenue at St. Olaf surpassed the $1 million mark, representing a new record.
While at St. Olaf, Sarah also coordinated direct mail and stewardship efforts, developed a successful model for the senior class campaign; collaborated closely with Alumni Office colleagues to reinvigorate reunion campaigns; worked with hundreds of alumni volunteers serving as Class Fund Agents; supported fundraising activities for the athletic booster club; and managed a portfolio of leadership prospects.
Sarah graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
