Linda joined the Enrollment Management team at RuffaloCODY in 2010, bringing with her 10 years of progressive enrollment experience beginning with her work at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA.
Before leaving Upper Iowa University, she was a member of the senior leadership team as the Director of Admissions, where she oversaw the operations of undergraduate admissions. She was also heavily involved with the overall marketing of the University as well as all retention efforts. While here she became an active NCA AQIP Systems Appraiser and Peer Reviewer.
During Linda’s tenure, Upper Iowa experienced its highest enrollment growth in 35 years. This was, in large part, due to the use of RuffaloCODY’s qualification tool, Enrollment Strategy Profiler (ESP), which she began using in 2003. In her time at UIU Linda also obtained her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.
Linda moved to Waldorf College (Forest City, IA) as Vice President for Admission, Financial Aid, & Marketing. While at Waldorf Linda successfully established specific transfer and athletic recruitment counseling while also launching a new website and new recruitment publications. Linda attributes much of the success at Waldorf to the strategic utilization of RuffaloCODY’s ESP in targeting the right students and redistributing resources toward those students. The savings experienced through qualification allowed Linda to devote resources toward unique marketing efforts. Also while at Waldorf, Linda was chosen as one of twelve 2008-2009 Thrivent Fellows.
In 2008 Linda joined the administration at an independent PreK–grade 12 school in St. Paul. This experience broadened her knowledge base in ways she did not anticipate and allowed her to do what no one else had been able to do—reverse trends and enroll more students than in the previous five years.
Linda brings unquestioned commitment to the role that enrollment management brings to higher education today and to the efficacy of the tools that RuffaloCODY offers in enhancing enrollment management operations. She has experienced this efficacy firsthand.
Linda currently lives in her hometown of West Union, IA. In her spare time Linda enjoys being a mom, always learning something new, exercising, and being a positive member of society.
