Dennis joined RuffaloCODY in 2003 after a career in enrollment management that spanned more than 20 years. He began working in admissions and financial aid as an undergraduate student at the University of Tennessee. Continuing as a graduate student at UT, he developed a peer-counseling program in the financial aid office and created a staffing model and training manual to use in the program.

In 1983, Dennis joined the staff at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta as an admission counselor. Over the years, he progressed into positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining RuffaloCODY, he served as Vice President for Enrollment, where he sat on the senior management team and had responsibility for admission, financial aid, adult education programs, and the registrar. While at Oglethorpe, he was tapped for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa honor society. He has been active in state, regional, and national enrollment management and international student organizations; has published papers on admission issues for home-schooling students; and has presented at conferences on a variety of enrollment and financial aid issues. Dennis is based in Atlanta, GA.
