Over 1,000 presidents, chancellors, chiefs of staff, and provosts were in attendance at a plenary session sponsored by RuffaloCODY—The Great American University:  A National Treasure—which celebrated the national importance of higher education to the United States and the world.  At this session, the ACE Learner of the Year Award was presented to Mercedes Acuna, a full-time U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) Command employee who recently received her bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College after nine years of hard work and determination.  Maureen Hammett, Vice President & Senior Consultant, RuffaloCODY, assisted in hosting Ms. Acuna and her family at the award presentation during the plenary session.  RuffaloCODY is pleased to be a corporate partner of ACE, the premiere international association of university presidents and chancellors, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and its programs that highlight the significance of higher education learning.
