Raquel Bermejo-Mongillo joined the Enrollment Management team at RuffaloCODY in May of 2008 as Director of Research & Reporting. She supports the Enrollment Management team, internally researching RuffaloCODY’s existing search, inquiry, and conversion data to determine better application and understanding of results to both benefit sales/marketing and improve RuffaloCODY’s services.
Raquel received Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Linguistics from the Universidad de Salamanca (Salamanca, Spain), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Right after graduation, as part of the Fulbright Scholar’s Program, she spent two years as Spanish Department Assistant at The College of Wooster (Wooster, Ohio), where she worked with faculty to develop planning, teaching, and testing strategies. She went on to get a Master’s Degree in Education from Ashland University (Ashland, Ohio), a certificate in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida (Tampa, Florida), and a Doctorate in Education from Argosy University (Sarasota, Florida).
Raquel taught Spanish (K-12) for 10 years, most recently at the Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences in Florida, where she served as Foreign Language Chair, working closely with administrators to develop, implement, and evaluate the School’s language curriculum. She also taught graduate level courses in educational measurement and research design at the University of Phoenix Online for four years and served as incoming faculty mentor for almost two. Before joining RuffaloCODY, Raquel worked for 3 years as an enrollment management consultant, collecting, compiling, and analyzing historical data on admissions and financial aid for numerous colleges and universities, and creating customized reports for each institution to manage and study this data.
Raquel received the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year award in 1998 for excellence in teaching and service to the community. She has been actively involved as a volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since 2002, and in 2004, she received a special tribute from the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for the ‘’most creative fundraising idea.’’ Raquel brings to RuffaloCODY the problem-solving, communications, and analytical skills she has developed over a career dedicated to working with educators and students.
